AI transparency
Last updated: 3 August 2026
We use artificial intelligence where it makes our work better — and we are open about where that is. This page describes how AI is used on this website and in our service.
Legal framework
The transparency obligations under Article 50 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) have applied since 2 August 2026. RevenueRise is based in Switzerland, which has not adopted the Regulation. Because this website also addresses prospective customers in the EU and the assistant answers their questions, the output is used within the Union — under Article 2(1)(c) we therefore apply the obligations rather than making their applicability a matter of dispute.
For the website assistant we act as a provider within the meaning of Article 3(3): it runs under our own name on a third-party language model. For the writing and design tools we use, we are merely a deployerof someone else’s system.
The principle: humans communicate, AI assists
Every guest conversation at RevenueRise Front is owned by a real person from our team. AI assists in the background — with reply suggestions for frequent enquiries, a knowledge base about your hotel and automated routines through our RevenueRise Masters platform. The final reply to your guests is always written and checked by a human. We do not put an undisclosed chatbot in front of guests.
Images and graphics
- The cartography on this website — compass rose, route lines, contour lines and stop markers — is a hand-built SVG set of our own. These are stylised drawings, not photorealistic depictions of real people, places or events. They are therefore not deepfakes within the meaning of Article 3(60), and no labelling duty under Article 50(4) arises.
- The older stop pages under
/insel/still use treasure-map style illustrations created with AI image tools and selected and refined by humans. They too are recognisably stylised rather than photorealistic. We mention them anyway, because we would rather disclose than argue the boundary. - Two of the three portraits in the team section under “About us” — Alina Brunner and Jonas Feldmann— are photorealistic, fully AI-generated images. Both roles are aspirational: the names and faces are invented and the people depicted do not exist. Each card carries a visible “AI-generated portrait” label. The portrait of Tatjana Kestel is unaffected.
- Every image showing Mona Krüger — the lead image on the home page, the portrait in the “Who is behind this” section and the portrait under “About us” — is a genuine photograph, neither AI-generated nor AI-altered. Until 10 August 2026 the lead image was an AI-generated picture of her; it has been removed without replacement.
Text
The texts on this website were partly drafted with AI assistance. Every published text goes through substantive human review; editorial responsibility rests with RevenueRise, represented by its owner. Article 50(4) requires labelling for text published in order to inform the public on matters of public interest — service, pricing and guide pages about our own offering do not fall into that category. Independently of that: every figure on this website is substantiated, and comparison figures carry their source and collection date.
Website assistant “Front Copilot”
For prospective customers (not hotel guests) we offer an AI assistant on this website called “Front Copilot”. It runs on the Claude Haiku language model by Anthropic, is clearly labelled as an AI assistant and, in its very first message, explicitly tells you that you are chatting with an AI. It answers questions about services, process and pricing and hands over to a human on request (e.g. via WhatsApp). The assistant is currently still being tested and is enabled via a technical toggle (env flag), so it is not always visible. For details on data processing, see the privacy policy.
Machine-readable content for AI assistants
We deliberately provide the content of this website in machine-readable form as well (including structured data and an llms.txt), so that AI search systems and assistants can inform correctly about RevenueRise Front.
